Spanish Culture Quest is an engaging, hands-on program that invites students to explore the rich cultures of the 21 Spanish-speaking countries through stories, projects, music, food, geography, and meaningful language use.

Designed especially for upper elementary learners, Spanish Culture Quest blends cultural discovery with practical Spanish vocabulary and sentence patterns—helping students build both global awareness and real communication skills.

Spanish Culture Quest is structured as a three-year curriculum.

Each year, students “travel” to seven Spanish-speaking countries, completing one country unit every three weeks.

By the end of the three-year journey, students will have explored all 21 Spanish-speaking countries across six regions of the world—building a strong mental map of the Spanish-speaking world and the people who live there.

Spanish Culture Quest is designed for three grade levesl and works beautifully in multi-grade classrooms.

Each country unit includes:

• Differentiated activities by grade level
• Shared core content that brings students together
• Flexible options for pacing, projects, and enrichment

This allows students to learn side by side, support one another, and grow at their own pace—all within the same cultural journey.

Throughout their Spanish Culture Quest adventure, students will:

• Locate Spanish-speaking countries on a map and identify their flags
• Meet cultural “friends” and develop a sense of global community
• Learn new Spanish vocabulary and communication skills with each country
• Discover traditional foods, native animals, and important cultural symbols
• Explore famous places, landmarks, and cultural traditions
• Practice meaningful Spanish sentence patterns in context
• Create hands-on projects, crafts, and cultural activities
• Celebrate progress by collecting passport stamps for each country
